Mt Squash Tournaments - We Want You!
Keen to get involved with the tournament sub-committees? We are looking for non committee members to join our tournament sub committees and get involved with helping to run our tournaments. We have 4 this year, all with a slightly different focus so choose one that fits your personality and join in the fun!!
Mount B Tournament (1-3 April) - planning starts soon so get in quick!
Mount Masters (6-8 May)
Mount Open (5-7 August)
Summer Open (28-30 December)
Just helping out on one of these tournaments spreads the load off the committee so we can focus on other ways to improve the club and is a great way to get to know your club better in a small way.
To get involved or for more details, contact Kelly Cox (kelly.cox@tauraurc.com) and let her know which tournament you would like to be involved with.
Neeley Log
The Mount have lodged another challenge for the Neeley Log (the Ranfurly Shield of Squash).
This will see two players from each grade play the holders of the Neeley Log (currently Putaruru), whooever wins the most matches wins the Neeley Log. Its a great club event with players from all grades taking part.
Our challenge will take place in March/April - more details to follow.
Extraction Fans
Remember if you are using the extraction fans to cool down on court over Summer to please turn them off prior to leaving.
Visitor and Practice Sessions
Please remember if you are using the visitor and practice key tag options to turn on the lights that you need to put a slip of paper in the box beside the Booking Computer.
Visitor Fees are $10 for 45 minutes.
Going forwards in the new year, the office will be invoicing for any sessions not paid for, or if there is no slip indicating it is a practice session.
NB: If a member forgets their key, simply document this on a slip of paper so the office can reconcile against your key tag.
